As a 33 year old thinking back to when i would blast this song on my walkman on the schoolbus on the way to elementary school in 5th fucking grade lol... obviously i didnt understand the deeper meaning to this song or most of slipknots songs at thst age, even tho i knew all the fucking words lol..i must have looked like a fucking psychopath to all the adults! I literally still remember how i discovered slipknot as a wee 10-11 year old..there was a slipknot music video of "my plague" as a extra on the resident evil dvd (the 1st live action movie) and alot of the music video was footage from the disasterpiece live dvd they did in early 2000..i went and stole that shit from fredmeyers (a department store) because the guy wouldnt sell it to me without a parent lol. Depending on the employee it was a 50/50 chance on if they sold me a cd with the "explicit" label on it, but it was almost a damn near impossibility to but R rated movies, M rated games, and for some reason the slipknot live dvd. If i waited for the right employee i couldnt bought the dvd eventually but i was impatient and NEEDED to see this joey drum solo that i heard about (yall know the one). I watched that dvd soo many times that year it's seared into my memory banks til this very day!
